Mr. Williard C. Stine, 89, of Providence, KY passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY.

Mr. Stine was born on February 20, 1937, in Aldino, MD the son of the late Mr. Williard W. Stine and Mrs. Lillian Beale Stine. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Eleanor and Elizabeth, and his brothers, Bobby, Vernon, and Harry.

Mr. Stine went to work on the farm at the age of 6 with his dad, he worked at the Bata Shoe Factory in Belcamp, MD, he served his country in the United States Army from 1960-1962.

When he returned, he went to work as a Foreman at Interpace Concrete in Perryman, MD.

He retired after 24 years as a coal miner from Pyro Mining Company, he enjoyed mowing, fishing, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his kindness and appreciation for the little things in life.

He is survived by his sons, Keith (Mary Jane) Stine of Ripley, WV and Jonathan (Rebecca) Stine of Mt. Carmel, IL, bonus son, Wayne Whitledge of Clay, KY; two grandchildren, Bryan (Elizabeth) Stine and Ashton Stine, great grandchildren, Harper and Magnolia.

Graveside services will be held on Monday April 13, 2026, at 2:00PM at White Oak Cemetery near Clay, KY with Bro. Ronnie Hardrick officiating.

Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until 1:30PM on Monday April 13, 2026, at Lewis Funeral Home LLC.
