William Leroy McWorthy,80, of Providence, KY passed away on Sunday January 23, 2022, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

Mr. McWorthy was born on July 19,1941, in Princeton, KY the son of the late Mr. Carlos McWorthy and Mrs. Mary Matthews McWorthy. He was preceded in death by his sister in laws, Mary Lou Winebarger, and Prue Malone, one brother in law, Jim Crowell.

Mr. McWorthy was of the Baptist Faith, he was a Butcher by trade, he enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels cars, and he graduated from Providence High School in the Class of 1960.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dixie McWorthy of Providence, KY; one brother, Jerry Wayne McWorthy of Detroit, Michigan; his sister in laws, Joyce (Donald) Barnhill of Providence, KY; Wanda Hughes of Dawson Springs, KY; Ruby Harrison of Providence, KY; Sue (Doc) Loftin of Avon Park, FL.

Graveside services will at 1:00PM on Thursday January 27, 2022, in the Fox Cemetery with Bro. Johnnie Davis officiating.
