In Loving Memory of Sharon K. Stone 69, of Manitou, Ky. With heavy hearts we honor the life of Sharon Stone. She passed away on Tuesday May 6, 2025, at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN, surrounded by the love of her family. Sharon was a woman of strength, warmth, and generosity, whose impact was felt by all who knew her.

She was born on March 13, 1956, the daughter of the late Mr. A.J. Stone and Mrs. Jaunita Stone. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Dame, niece, Melissa Dame Barnett, and her brother-in-law, Mike Barron.

Sharon carried a deep sense of family and community throughout her life. She owned and operated the J&T Grocery for over 25 years where her country cooking and open heart made her a beloved fixture in the lives of local coal miners and neighbors. She was affectionately known as "Granny" she treated everyone who entered her store like family, and they became one of her "Young'uns". Upon her retirement from the store Sharon began a new chapter of her life with the Kentucky State Transportation Department, proudly earning her CDL and continuing her legacy of hard work and dedication.

Sharon is survived by her son, Eric (Toshia) Stone of Manitou, KY; her granddaughter, Adalyn Stone, grandson Jaxon Stone lovingly known as "her boy"; her sister Mary Barron of Nebo, KY; her nephews, Michael Barron and Linn Barnett, her brother-in-law, Danny Dame and her great niece, Lauren Kim.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Dame and Barry Franklin; active pallbearers will be Michael Barron, Lanny Ashby, Jerry Russ, O.R. Reinhard, Jarrod Wyatt, Jeramy Leslie, John Montgomery, and Young Kim.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday May 10, 2025, in the Lucille Melton Memorial Chapel at Lewis Funeral Home LLC in Providence, KY with Pastor Linn Barnett officiating with burial to follow in the Nebo Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until the service hour on Saturday May 10, 2025, at Lewis Funeral Home LLC in Providence, KY.
