Ruth Anne Lamirande,82, of Leesville, LA formerly of Providence passed away on Thursday October 6, 2022, in Leesville at Byrd Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Lamirande was born in Dalton, KY, the daughter of the late Mr. Cleo Herbert Coffman and Mrs. Rosa Lofton Coffman. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Mrs. Lamirande retired after 30 years of Civil Service working at Fort Polk, LA at the Fort Polk Army base, she enjoyed working puzzles, doing crafts, and taking care of her plants.

She is survived by her children, Richard Wayne Crockett of Oklahoma City, OK; Shawn Ethan (Paula) Crockett of Leesville, LA; and Clifton Virn (Diana) Crockett of Columbia City, IN.; her grandchildren, Ashley (Chris) Wiley, Shawn Crockett, Hailey (Chris) Williamson, Amber Crockett, Austin (Heather)Crow, Andrew (Shannen) Crow, Jessica Hobbs, and Angela Hobbs and her great grandchildren, Paisley Wiley, Carson Crockett, Myles Williamson, Claire Williamson, Gracie Crow, Evie Crow, Madison Crow, Ella Crow, Myles Bolanos, Kaleigh Nichols, Naya Saiymeh, and Jase Saiymeh.

Graveside services will be held on Friday October 14, 2022, at Big Hill Cemetery in Providence.
