Ruby Harrison,88, of Providence, KY passed away on Saturday March 2, 2024, at Shemwells Health Care in Providence.

Mrs. Harrison was born on August 1, 1935, the daughter of the late Mr. Ben Crowell and Mrs. Evie Brown Crowell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Harrison in 1972, and her sons, Ricky Harrison, Jefferey Harrison, her sisters, Prue Malone, Mary Lou Winebarger, and her brother, JM Crowell.

Mrs. Harrison is of the Baptist faith, she worked for the City of Providence for 15 years as the city clerk, she was a devoted mother to her sons, she enjoyed growing flowers, and working in her flower gardens.

She is survived by her sisters, Joyce (Donald) Barnhill of Providence, KY; Dixie McWorthy of Providence,KY; Wanda Hughes of Dawson Springs, KY; Sue (Lvurn) Loftin of Avon Park, FL, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday March 11, 2024 in the Fox Cemetery with Bro. Johnnie Davis officiating.
