Jimmie Dale Abbott, 72, of Providence, KY passed away on Friday May 21, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.

Mrs. Abbott was born in Providence, KY on February 25, 1949 the daughter of the late Carl Lee Sigler and Ruby May Reynolds Sigler.

Mrs. Abbott was a homemaker, she was a member of Second Baptist Church in Providence, she enjoyed camping at KY Lake, reading, doing crafts, spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Abbott is survived by her sons, Anthony (Sarah) Abbott of Patoka, IN; Kevin (Mila) Abbott of Ontario, Canada, her granddaughter, Marrissa (Matt) Cummins and one great granddaughter, Madison, her companion James Millikan.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 26, 2021 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Melton Funeral Home with Bro. Fred Harrison officiating with burial to follow in White Oak Cemetery near Clay, KY.

Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until the service hour on Wednesday May 26, 2021 at Melton Funeral Home.
