Jeffery Dee Summers, 67, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on January 12, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess.

Mr. Summers was born on July 17, 1958, in Hopkins County, KY, the son of the late Mr. Neal Summers and Mrs. Fay Neil Higbee. He was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Fay Baird.

He was a member of Unity in Christ Church in Madisonville, KY; he retired from GE after 15 years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, taking golf cart and side by side rides, raising chickens, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Anita of Dawson Springs, KY; two sons, Chris (Andrea) Summers of Dawson Springs, KY; Cody (Lauren) Summers of Antigo, WI; his sister, Regina (Bobby) McKnight of Christian County, KY; his brother, Scott (Janet) Summers of Dawson Springs, KY. His grandchildren, Khloe Summers, Tucker Summers, and Riley Summers.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday January 14, 2026, at Dunn Cemetery near Dawson Springs, KY, with Pastor Brian Richardson officiating..

Memorial contributions can be made to the Dunn Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
