Mr. Clarence Richard Nelson,78, of Madisonville, KY passed away on August 18, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Nelson was born in Albion, MI on September 5, 1940 the son of the late Clarence Richard Nelson and Verna Belle Hakes Nelson.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Judith Eldred and one brother, Jake Nelson.

Mr. Nelson was of the Lutheran faith, he worked as a welding foreman for Alfab and later retired from Vestil MFG.

Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife of 50 years Carol of Madisonville; six daughters, Tammy Huff of Albion, MI; Tina Hopkins of Homer, MI; Tracy Nelson of Reading, MI; Tressa (Scott) Tausz of Eaton Rapids, MI; Tren Garfield of Concord, MI; Tonya (Darryl) Nelson of Homer, MI; and one son, Clarence Richard Nelson III and his wife Betsy of Albion, MI; 19 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Albion, MI.
