Alice Lynn, 82, of Nebo, KY passed away on Friday May 30, 2025, at her home in Nebo with her family at her side.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 23, 1943. She is the daughter of the late Mr. Jesse Frank Buie and Mrs. Clara Bell Plemmons Buie. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen Lynn; sons Alan Lynn; two brothers Jimmy Lee Buie and Jerry Wayne Buie; two sisters Donna Sue Buie Baker and Delores Faye "Bootsie" Buie Kellum.

Mrs. Lynn worked at and ran the mill in Nebo as well as worked at GE for 28 years. She helped with the Katrina through the Red Cross where she surveyed damage. Mrs. Lynn was a gardener, loved catfishing, and have get togethers with friends and family. She would cook for all the farm hands as she was the best cook. Mrs. Lynn was a member and worshipped at Nebo Baptist Church.

Mrs. Lynn is survived by her son Johnny Lynn of Nebo; her grandchildren, Cyndi (Heath) Marsh, and Matthew Lynn; great grandchildren Allison and Caroline Marsh.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Lucille Melton Memorial Chapel at Lewis Funeral Home with Bro. Patrick Yates and Bro. Terry Rhye officiating. A burial will follow in the Nebo Cemetery.

The visitation will be on Tuesday June 3, 2025, in the chapel of Lewis Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and from 11:00 AM until the service hour on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
